Harvest Period #2: The Feast of Pentecost
Mark A. Little The Feast of Pentecost represents the second harvest period in God’s plan of salvation. “Three times you shall keep a feast to Me in the year: You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread . . ., and the Feast of Harvest (Weeks/Pentecost) . . ., and the Feast of Ingathering (Tabernacles) at the end of the year . . .” (Exod. 23:14-16). These 3 particular feasts mark the 3 time periods of God’s harvest plan, when people will receive salvation and become members

Harvest Period #1: The Feast of Unleavened Bread
Mark A. Little In Matthew24Signs previous blog titled, “3 X’s in a Year,” it was explained how there are 3 harvest periods within the 2 harvest seasons of God’s holy day plan. These 3 periods picture when human beings become members of God’s family. Each harvest period is specifically designated by a feast within God’s 7 annual festivals, outlined in Leviticus 23. “Three times you shall keep a feast to Me in the year: You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread . . ., and

3 X's in a Year
Mark A. Little In Leviticus 23, God’s feast days are revealed in chronological order. These feasts are described as God’s feasts, not the feasts of the Jews. These feasts are holy convocations to be observed at their appointed times. There are 7 feasts listed in Leviticus 23, along with the weekly Sabbath and the Passover. Their appointed times for observance are specifically designated. God’s late apostle, Herbert W. Armstrong, came to understand, through revelation, th

God’s Work Defined
Mark A. Little What is the work of God’s Church as a new year (2018) on the Gregorian calendar begins? Does the Bible define what it is? How can it be proven beyond doubt, what God wants His Church to be doing in these end-times? Correction in understanding The vast majority within God’s Church believe God’s work today is the continuation of Matthew 24:14. “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end wil

Rebuild or Repent?
Mark A. Little As residents living in areas afflicted by Hurricane Harvey begin to assess their circumstances, an important question needs to be answered. It is not a question political leaders at the local, state and national levels are asking. Religious leaders are overlooking it. The news media is too corrupt to even consider it. The question is this, “What should victims of Hurricane Harvey do first, rebuild or repent?” President Donald Trump and Texas Governor Greg A

31 A.D., Fact or Fiction?
Mark A. Little Does June 4, 2017 mark the establishment of God’s Church, 1,986 years ago? God’s late apostle, Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong taught God’s Church began in 31 A.D., on the Feast of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4 ). In his final book, “Mystery of the Ages,” Mr. Armstrong wrote, “The Church started on the day of Firstfruits called Pentecost, in June of A.D. 31.” (pg. 275) This date was established by identifying the year in which Christ died. Christ’s death and the establishm

Become Zealous and Repent!!!
Mark A. Little What message should God’s Church be hearing, before partaking in the Passover for 2017? Christ provides the answer in Revelation 3:16, 19: “So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will (am about to) vomit you out of My mouth. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be[come] zealous and repent.” For those with eyes to see, it is clear this message is not being stressed by the ministry of the Church of God today.
